It is believed to be the largest case of bribers forcefully obtaining a refund on record. (chharget@aol.com)

That must have been Rio embarassing (Airfarcewon@aol.com)

The 46 eye-witnesses described the ring leader as a tall, thin, balding middle-aged short Hispanic teenager of Swedish descent, wearing a baseball cap, sun glasses and contact lenses. (chharget@aol.com)

The bus was equipped with surveillance equipment, but that got ripped off, too. (Cantw82paint@Aol.com) As did the alarm, three wheel clamps and the entire precinct's handcuffs.

It's a good thing they didn't need their stinkin' badges. (tphyll@aol.com)

The Sheriff of Nottingham was quick to offer his sympathies. (william.fishburne@verizon.net)

Leaving the 46 policemen sitting dumbfounded in the middle of the road wondering, "Hey... where did the bus go?" (MooseSpeak@netscape.net) Pah. Amatures, here in Liverpool they'd have had the policemen propped up on bricks so they don't notice.

Pigeon racing steroids and Brazilian police ineptitude . . . I sense a pattern developing. (Seeker@vcoms.net)

If caught, the thieves may face a public Brazilian Waxing. (buttercup1977@hotmail.com) Thus turning the offenders into Smooth Criminals.
